Intention

My approach is transdisciplinary. It is historical (put into perspective), philosophical (epistemological, ethical approach) and sociological (description of contexts, analysis of the production of meaning). My study thus addresses the use of image and film, in institutional communication and in the media. This work aims to be a critical analysis of the relationship of researchers, mediators, journalists and research institutions to the popularization, information and "staging" of science. In doing so, it is at the heart of the "Science / Citizen" debate. .

Journey

At Paris Saclay University, I focused my work more specifically on science and the medicine related to genetics and neuroscience. I extend this work today within the Sciences & Media team at the University of Paris. I analyze, in a critical way , the relationships between science, culture and society, focusing myself on the conflicts, heritage and mediations. I study in particular the functioning and the evolution of biology through maritime stations, in particular that of Tamaris and Villefranche sur Mer.

Restart

This route probably ends here. The end of the journey is near and I am having fun with this little retrospective which leads me to freeze some photographs and some films (the purpose of which is precisely to freeze time). It's time to bury some university writings too and to leave it to the drawings and paintings witch will keep me busy, may be, in the future.
